I love that mod so much, before I had carried tons of ingredients to make the different food dishes that comes in the game like Brahmin Wellington but with the terminal I can add all the pre made food I want! There's Fire Ant Fricasse, Cook-Cook's Fiend Stew which does NOT have human flesh in it, it's quite good, the secret ingredient is beer. It's got the MIssissippi Quantum Pie from FO3 as well as the sweetroll! I'm testing out the Cortex Scrambler with Diesel who is cannible so I didn't grab as much food as usual cause he eats out a lot.

Ah. In that case I'll just open the console when I want to take a screenie -- no need to type anything in the console really. It disables the HUD and pauses the game so plenty of time to hit the print screen key. But I guess there are other useful commands in the console to move the camera around.

You can't really play the game with tm on all the time, you won't get any conversations or anything, so you need to turn it off then on. Another command is tfc, you do that when you want to pull way away from the subject. Or if you're in 3rd person and want to show the entire surrounding, use that. I use it a lot in my sex screens.

Which is needed for the sex mods BUT you can use it for your game also. The creator has some nice descriptions and a video that shows just how it works in the game. What I also do, for my shots, is I keep the display of the HUD on only 1 tick, and it's white. It makes it barely visible for screenshots. Like I said you can't play with tm off but having the HuD as pale as you can stand, makes the game playable. The only thing I don't see much are enemies sneaking up on me, but in god mode, who cares.

Ok, Electro-City got a big overhaul a couple days ago. I had been having trouble with it in the Booted quest, it would take a repairman instead of a powder ganger and I have a suspicion it was causing the trouble getting through Freeside. I started a new game today, removed the Electro-City mod, added all the files for Nevada Skies, used the Normal Details as the last overwrite, and an now using:

Since I really wanted to brighten up the interiors only, I am going this way, you don't need the Emmitor anymore either, that got merged with this mod, the Imaginator. And wow, does it ever brighten the room, too bright, will take some adjustments but it's a really cool mod!

So my Nevada Skies are by themself, no patch needed, and am using this Imaginator, no patch needed. Also, I started a new game, and checked out my LW companion Hawk. He does come with the combat armor but he has the new face and evil karma. And the AI Packages are still removed also so I might need to redo him for those not wanting to use the cortex scrambler on him. But why have a companion and not be able to have sex with them, I don't understand!

OMG this game never stops getting better! Wow! Ok, I added the Populated Wasteland because I have so many high powered companions I wanted to give them something to do, and they do! A lot! I'll be adding some screenies over on my screenshot thread but wow, what a difference! I'm going to take a minute to catch up on my regular mods now before I get in the screenshots.

Sadly the Populated Wasteland is no more, seems the latest patch broke it and the modder is MIA but I'm trying the IWS-Increased Wasteland Spawns

That overhaul lady outfit looks pretty good combined with Body by race bouncing. Because it is type 3 body it will work just as well.

When i have a chance i will upload some more picture.

Also the mod got a major update to today. Also released some movie how the bouncing works in game. To give a sneak preview.

But I might end up redoing this thread again, I keep the mods I use separate from the other mods discussion because I have links to my mod list over on my YouTube channel. But there are just so many mods to try! This is a really exciting time for modders and PC gamers for New Vegas, it's like damn, which one should I try first? I might try that body one after it gets going more and you can help me with it.

it seems like the body-replacer-mod changes the faces as well - all the gals do have a lot of colour around the eyes and mouth - as though wearing makeup and they look kind of puffed up around the cheeks. At first i thought it's the Ling stuff, but i have loaded one of my older savegames and it's still there when i deactivate Ling - so it should be one of the others.
I wonder if i can shut this (facechange) out without deactivating the bodies (i did like those)...

And if i choose to deactivate the whole mod - how am i to proceed (don't even know which files belong in there)

Here you go, Scerijne, here's how to remove Ling.

To remove the body mod, click on the package manager and go inside that to the BoG and deactivate. You can also manually remove all those files the way you would remove Ling's files after you deactivate from the FOMM. You do that with any mod that adds meshes and textures. I usually check the dates to make sure I'm removing the right one, you can have other files in there you might want to keep and only remove certain mod files so it's a good idea to use a safety check like the date and file size or something similar.

Well, I just tried the cortex scrambler on Dean Domino and Christine and not "do something naughty". You still get the entertainment but it's not worth it for that, neither one is particularly attractive. Personally I'd rather do it with the super mutant.

I've got most of the ws tryout mod and others I downloaded working, the Legion hitting on you is quite funny. Before I found that area quite depressing, now I'm reluctant to get on their bad side and drop in to say hi when passing. I'm trying the portable tent as well, it looks really good I've just got to find a nice place to set it up.

What I do, is if I'm going to side with Boone (yes man or ncr) I do to the legion and "work" for a few days. Same with the powder gangers. If I'm siding with Boone, I usually take Lt Hayes as a companion as well so I betray Eddie but I "work' for a few days there also. This way I get the experience and bam, turn traitor!

The tent is amazing. I can even take it to the Sierra Madre and keep my stuff in it!
