I almost thought I was having a migraine last night, had to lay down for a bit and try to rest. It wasn't a migraine, I was just feeling bad enough in similar ways.

Rough start today too, but more because of technical crap. With all the advances and upgrades, enchancements, overhauls, etc. we still have technological issues that are a pain in the ass for no apparent reason.

It's been a really long day for me. I've been busy pretty much ever since I got up. At least it's all done with now.

I got sick pretty bad yesterday after I tried to go to bed. Ended up sleeping on and off for over 12 hours. Woke up every few hours with a bad headache. I think it's passed now though. Other than the lingering grogginess, I'm okay.

I dunno when I'll actually get to playing the game. As it is, any time I spend on it will be just screwing around to see what works for what and all, without saving anything or making any progress towards anything. Like, I'll need to test various things when I get to certain points, and that'll take time. FO4's settlements are simple to understand but insanely complicated when it comes to the physical setup and planning things out.

I'm at least glad that because there's not a whole lot of overhauling I'd need to it, it means I won't have to worry about starting over. I kept thinking the overhauling would be more complicated than it looks like it will be, and that much work might be no better than starting a new game outright. That's not the case, as it's more just a few involved tweaks and some other minor adjustments for me, but that still means time that I just don't have ATM.

On the plus side, I'm making good progress with stuff on my Switch. I made good use of having it with me yesterday when I had a treatment.

Had a rough time with my treatment. Everything went fine, just that it was more draining than usual this time. I had to go back to sleep after getting back home.

Yeah, I've seen that, just like the Sims store stuff. Why they would make you pay for something modders can make and you can get for free just seems ridiculous. " Oh, hey, there's an entire community of people making awesome stuff that you can get for free, but we want you to pay money for the same kinda stuff from us. "

I don't even have mods on my FO4 game. Vanilla works for me just fine. Same with Skyrim. I had TS2 modded all to Hell and that was a nightmare with every expansion. Half of everything would break. TS3, I kept light, just a few mods for convenience and that's all. FO4, I've had enough fun with the base game as it was. I still haven't looked into the expansion stuff yet because I got Switch games too for Christmas, and I've been focusing on those. I still haven't done much in Skyrim either since getting the Special Edition, although when I started freshed, I got further story-wise than I had before.

Right now, GW2 has their Lunar New Year event going, so that's taking a little extra time to do stuff with, and that's just after Halloween, LS4, and then Wintersday. There's just so much to do around this time of year with in-game events and everything.

I messed around for a bit in FO4 when I had time, just to look into the settlement stuff.

Unless the things unlocked by doing the quests and all get really complicated, I don't think overhauling will be a problem. Other than swapping out power generators, and maybe building defense towers with elevators, there's not much to do. The dirt plots, maybe I could use, but those might be more situational than anything.

Some people do it with gators, and a lot of people can't tell the difference.

Busy day. So much I gotta catch up on, plus I had a slow start because I woke up sick. Doing a little better now though.

I broke some of the NES games, like Hogan's Alley with the can shooting, and Defender 2. The levels get messed up when you go too high. In Hogan's Alley, it just resets the number. In Defender 2, you start getting into ASCII weirdness.

Nothing beats the Lode Runner glitch though. It's a prime example of them not thinking things through. If you make a custom level with multiple player starts, the game thinks you're at each one.

So there's a horror game based on Duck Hunt now.

At this rate, it won't be long before we see The Brady Bunch Movie turn into one, where Jan's got that psycho voice in her head. It could be a game where you control Alice or something and have to save the family before they're all killed off by a psycho killing Jan. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch at this point, considering how a lot of popular indie games now are in that " It's innocent at 1st but gets super dark. " type of horror theme.

Really wish this weather would make up its mind about whether it's gonna be warm or cold.
