Call of the Tenebrae
« on: October 27, 2017, 12:26:27 PM »

"Your usefulness ends here, mongrel. Your kind will serve its one purpose... as a tool to deliver the Cleansing. Chosen! Prepare the portals! As for you... you half-breed waste..."

"You're insane! Your masters are dead, and you're only hastening your own demise! Even if you succeed, you'll only doom your own kind!"
"Chosen! Raise the barrier! Keep the human at bay!"

"Dar-Pha...!"

Oh my, your guy is really cute! :D

He's the default character. Haven't done any modifications to him. You actually start the game at lvl 60 - if you're not importing a character from POFF. I haven't entered the village where the game starts yet. Throwing in some screens from the intro right now. More of those to come. Then I'll toss in a few shots from the beginning of the base game befor returing to my COT game

The Battle of Oswaroth...

The Orcs would have overrun the forces of Gandohar, were it not for the dark wizard himself. As it were, the Orcs were annihilated. All but a handful of them were killed. The Orcs were a dying race - their females gone...

After the battle, Gandohar, the dark wizard declared himself emperor of Antaloor. He reigned supreme from his dark castle at Oswaroth. Still, pockets of resistance lingered...

"Once again your brother defies me and attempts to escape. Has he no love for you? Why doe he deny you the Life force sustaining your fragile body? If he will not offer you Life, I will take it from him," Gandohar says
"Kyra..."

"Such a delicate vessel for such a violent force," Gandohar says.

"Once more you manage to uphold this frail prison. But soon enough her body will run Cold and ash and cinder will be all that remains of you and your empire."
"Your flame flickers in the wind, Aziraal," Gandohar says.

"Watch your step... Wouldn't want you to get hurt."
"Heh, heh. Welcome home."
"Try to escape again and the next Place we'll put you will be far less forgiving than the dungeon. It's a different World. You'd be wise to remember that."

"I'm not going to hurt you. We're here to help. Now let's go!"

"This is it... We came here for this? I pray that our dedication hasn't clouded the Prophet's judgement."
"What's this all about?" the mercenary wonders.
"There's no time!" Everything will be explained once we reach Alsorna. Now go with Dar Pha."
"I'm not leaving without my sister... not without Kyra," the mercenary says.
"Kyra is not the objective. You are. she is heavily guarded and the stakes are too high to risk losing either of you. Coming with us is the only hope you have of saving your sister."
"This is suicide. You'll never breach Gandohar's defenses," the mercenary says.
"We made it this far, didn't we? Now get on with it. It won't be long Before Gandohar's army is made aware of our prsence. If you reach the exit Point Before us, take it."

This was the first time the mercenary met Rogdor the orc warrior, and Nortar the orc Archer, and Dar Pha the veiled half-orc woman...
